Old Songs

Hi Assalammualaikum, everyone :) I know it was only yesterday I posted an entry, but I feel so excited to write agaaaaaaaaaain. Gah

Besides listening to Yuna, Colbie Caillait, and Jason Mraz, I also listen to the old song that are really old... E.g; Ne Me Quitte Pas (French), Tous Les Garcon Et Les Filles (French), Fly Me To The Moon (English), L.O.V.E (English. By Frank Sinatra, btw. Dont misunderstand me), WESTLIFE'S SONGS WHICH I LOVEEEEEE THE MOST, AND MARIAH CAREY and and and and other songs that might interrupt your daily routine or give you a  heart attack.

I sometimes get called as "Tua", or "Takda Taste". Ya, sometimes my friends will say "Weh bosan gila semua lagu kau dengar niiiiii, takda rancak sikit ke?" :(

I think the main reason I listen to the old songs is because... My parents listen to them! Well, as pepatah Melayu selalu berkata "Bagaimana acuan, begitulah kuihnya" gittew. Hahah. ANDDD, old songs are really remarkably good. When listening to songs, I put the whole attention to the lyrics. So if you wanna talk about rentak or whatsoever, your argument is invalid. Yes, I am orang tua. Hahaha.

So... Let me share some memories that I had with these old songs. Okay?

The Westlife Night

It was raining heavily at that night, and we were super duper bored. I was 4/5years old during that time. Suddenly my dad stood and turned on the tv. I saw he was holding Westlife's cd, and I knew that we were going to have a party on that night. I always loved partying (even sampai sekarang... Dalam dapur. Sambil pegang senduk. hahahaha) but with family la and in small scale. Takdela pergi club ke apa kan.

It was always like this, for one song, there will be a leader menari di hadapan. So, the rest of us akan ikut orang yang lead the dance. It was really fun. I always tell my friends bout this Westlife Night, but until now I could not express how happy I was.

There was this one time, we danced to Uptown Girl where my sis, Ezzaty/Kaklong lead us. So I turned my head to my mom, cos she was no longer joining us. When I looked at her, she was smiling and looking magnificently gorgeous. I really thought she was beyond than the word of "beautiful". Well, my mom is really a beautiful lady. But at that particular moment, muka Ibu macam ada crystal, you know... happy person's face macam mana. Ayah was so funny. He danced like a girl, kadang kadang... Lol. hahahahaha.

That night seemed to be forever. Lambat betul masa berlalu. We laughed to each other's choreography, and ours'. But the time flies so fast.... I miss them. I mean, "us".... *cries*

(sorry for the bad ending, hahaha. Taktahu how... Lol. For those who may know, may understand. But I really wish I could feel the feeling again with my future husb and kids. Lololol. )

500 Miles of Excitement

When I was in Standard 6, Ibu went to a public speaking course. Ofcourse, to strengthen her English. So, when  she got back from the class, she was sooooo excited to tell me what went on. She told me bout her new friends, how did the class went, what was the activity, excitedly.  She asked me few grammar rules and told me what sentences she told her teacher. In other words, SEMUA LA. Even teachers' slang pun dia bagitau. Hahaha. So cute.

So, on another day, she went to the class again, and told me a song she learned  and sang in the class with all of her classmates. Nak tahu lagu apa? Jeng jeng jengggggggggg

one of my fave song. Ngehe

What I could not forget until now is that, after mom told me bout the song, she jumped (technically, um yes) in front of me and SANG THE SONG. Hahah. She really looked like an excited 5years old kid that time. Macam... ala bayangkan, you have a kid umur 5tahun, balik dari tadika and she/he says to you "mommy mommy tadi kan blablabla then blablabla".  And you just listen to his/her story and smiles gracefully.

     So.... Adorable. hahah

These are certainly my unforgettable memories, now... What's yours? You can share your stories with me! Well, if you want to... I'm always delighted to listen ;) Hey, I'm a good listener, trust me.

     Thanks for reading, Bye Assalammualaikum!
