Role

Hey Assalammualaikum pals. How are you? :) Im writing now cos i'm so distracted and bored doing the listening exercise. Let me tell you briefly bout the 'short' story; A monkey who loves chocolate. Im sorry, but hearing too much 'chocolates' has made my mind and soul defected. I. NEED. CHOCOLATES. Hence, I write.

So, I have a belief, which is, every person that exists in your life plays different and important roles. If you look at he/she reluctantly, you might not notice it at all. But, as a girl, you would. (Ok la dah seribu kali aku cakap benda ni sorry la gais) Lagi satu belief aku is that aku berhak makan apa aku nak regardless to those "Eh bukan baru makan tadi ke?" "Tak nak diet ke? huhu"

      "What is my role then?"

How would i know. Lol. Hang pikiaq la sendiri.

Living as a human is somehow simple (said by someone who's confused nak Maggi Kari or Maggi Tomyam)     yet puzzling. I mean, it would be much easier if you are a cat. Your role expectation (people's expectation on you) may be "Cute. Needing food. Needing love. Brainless. Forceful. Just like my ex. EH?!" that last part is a joke, though. Hahahahah. Im zo funny.

But then, you are a human. You, yourself, one mind, one body, one oesophagus, one heart, one brain, ONE MALAYSIA, and blablabla, plays at least 8 roles; That includes, a student, a servant of Him, a child, a friend, a sister/brother. a grandchild, a nephew/niece, an employee, etc.Imagine playing that much roles at a time, what would the role performance (how you actually play the role) ? Can you act that good? Or can you live in those roles without losing yourself?

By then, there is this one phenomena happens, which issssssss Role Conflict; occurs when incompatible role demands are placed on a person by two or more statuses held at the same time.

Hence, that is why some people could be so mean at times. Haha. Because their expectation on you. Like your mom or dad asks you to tumbuk belacan for the whole kampung when youre extremely busy. Their thoughts on you might (must) be "You are my son/daughter, you should listen to my orders without ish or ush". Or your bini asking for a handbag which costs you Rm34 000, she must be thinking "Dia suami aku, he should manage to give me what i want", Man, trust me. Leave her, FOR ME. hahahahaha.

And perempuan. We are expected to cook 24/7. Turns out kita beli kat pasar huhuhu lantak ler komer. Nahh, i dont think there is a sexism here. If you let guys cook, alamatnya, makan nasi kosong+sosej+kicap la jawapnya. Hahah. Frankly speaking, kadang kadang aku rasa sexism actually menyenangkan perempuan. I mean at some points. Heheh. But at some points, sangat unfair.

Eh melalut. But the point is, perception. Their perceptions on what role you're playing that matter. (takda la matter sangat. Tapi matter la jugak).  Idk la but I sometimes feel pity ad amazed at the same time for those who are holding much titles in college or job or life. How can you work it outttttt? Share with me some tips!

    Now....

If you are having hard times, honey, listen to me, everyone is facing the same thing, you just gotta talk to someone. There's always someone who cares tho his or her face is like jeruk peram dari  zaman Neolithic :-) Or if you dont wanna share it with people yela manusia kan tak boleh dipercayai, talk to your God. Talk to Him. Afterall, He is The Merciful, The Listener, and The Almighty right? Trust me on this. Pls dont choose to end your life. Suicidal is never the answer. Okay?! Now, chin up! :D

Thanks for reading, Bye Assalammualaikum.
