Status

Hi Assalammualaikum. This is a short post only, dont worry, nak menguap pun entah tak sempat. lol

i need coffee T_T Even an instant coffee would give me a satisfaction rn.

  Since it's been a month I am now a mahasiswi (eceh bajet pulak), I can see differences between school and university.  Learning process, characters shown by the people here, and food. Lol. Im all about food I swear. Um k. That's just too  obvious


  So here's the story, I was ironing my scarf for kawad and had a flashback bout classes. Ofcourse, Sociology. Ugh guys, we all just need to take a break and have a glass of coffee and learn one thing bout Sociology at times. Cos it's a process which we are actualy learning ourselves, learning why do some people acting strangely, and beyond the story, from whom they were affected.

  Back to the topic, in school, I mean ever since primary school, or tadika, there's this one compulsory question will be asked, "Mak Bapak awak kerja apa?". But in college, there wont be anymore la. Kau anak Dato' ke, anak Professor ke, assignment tak siap, goodbye 60%.

  And... Seriously, I used to answer the question proudly till I was in Secondary School. Sebab lepastu baru ada akal kot. Har har

  I was like "Why does it matter to you?"; "And answering that would be beneficial for..?"


  I hate the question because it seems like that particular answer could be satu... penghalang or laras for kids in the class. Do you want our society separated since in the early years they live just because of this mak-bapak-aku-kerja-apa issue?

  Like, maybe teachers have their reasons like they could help the less fortunate kids, but then, what if other kids make fun of them?


  I have lots of friends yang parents kerja bergaji rendah but halal (that's the highlight. halal) and I know they're proud of their parents, but then, we are living in a society yang pentingkan status.

'Kau kaya, bapak CEO, kau hebat. And kau, mak takat cleaner, sorry bro, you deserve to be friends with cleaners' kids' , Now that is what i'm afraid of!

  I attended one intensive course at Cambridge and there was this one day which Madam Ellis (superb role model!!!!!!!!!!) said that she scolded her son for asking "Mom, should I write we went there by Mercedes or BMW?" (ayat tak tepat kot, ala bolehlah haha) when he was writing an essay of what he did at that last weekend. And yea, she owns the cars.

  And why do you think that little munchkin umur 8tahun would ask her mom that question? It's (probably) because majority, his friends in class semua pentingkan all those stuffs!

  Humans, we dont live for the sake of buying things and post it on Instagram or Facebook and see whose life is better okay!

  Hmm guys, I hope youre not affected with this status issue. By saying 'affected', i mean, you wont be the one yang purchase or wear expensive stuffs or buy foods you cant afford just to impress the society. If your parents are wealthy enough, then it's your luck la. But if your parents aren't, just take a moment and think, kalau mak bapak kau kat rumah ikat perut, makan nasi and telur goreng je sebab nak bagi kau makan pakai cukup, apa hak kau nak mintak lebih dari kemampuan mereka?
